I’m a designer skilled in graphic design, user interface design for mobile apps and web, motion design, animation, photography, and painting. While I have experience in these areas, my current focus is on graphic design, user interface design, and social media design and marketing. I excel at understanding and following client needs and specifications, ensuring that their vision comes to life.
My desire to improve and grow inspires my creativity. Design pushes me out of my comfort zone, whether I'm working with clients or on personal projects. It allows me to visually communicate and give purpose to my thoughts, opinions, and ideas.
I know that as I continue on my journey, my skills will evolve. For now, I focus on creating strong visual impacts, using contrast and lines, with a touch of eccentricity—all while following the necessary guidelines and keeping client needs in mind. Some of my key influences come from surrealism, illusions, and nature.
DEEPER LOOK
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, navigating life as a first-generation Mexican American with a passion for drawing, painting, dancing, and singing. After graduating high school, I moved to San Jose, CA, to pursue higher education. During that time, I took a moment to figure out my strengths and weaknesses. Eventually, I discovered my love for design and focused all my efforts on honing my skills.
I’m currently focused on building my design career and improving my creative skills. Right now, I’m working at AA Sign Image, Inc. as a Creative Marketing Lead and Graphic Designer. I also have the amazing opportunity to work with the San Jose Sharks and Adobe as a fellow in their Creator Fellowship. This experience has really shown me—especially my younger self—that chasing my passions is possible. It reminds me that meaningful careers are attainable for people like me. My main goal is to use my design skills for social good and to make a positive impact in people’s lives.
When I’m not at the computer, I’m enjoying life by exploring other interests. I love painting, watching movies, visiting local thrift stores and museums, listening to live music, and, of course, my favorite: spending time in nature.
